How matters are staffed
The lawyer who takes your first consultation is the lawyer responsible for your matter. That sounds obvious; in practice a great many firms route the first call to an intake person and hand the file to whoever is free.
Junior counsel assist on drafting, research and procedural appearances, which keeps costs down, but the strategy, the hearings that matter and the client conversations stay with the lead advocate. You will always know who that is.
Language and accessibility
Consultations, pleadings and court appearances are handled in Tamil or English, whichever you are more comfortable with. For clients whose family members are involved in the discussion, we are happy to conduct the consultation in both.
For clients outside India, consultations run by video or phone at a time that works across time zones, and most steps in a matter can be handled through a properly drafted power of attorney without travel.
What we will tell you honestly
That your case is weak, if it is. That the settlement on the table is better than the judgment you are likely to get. That the matter you want to file will cost more than it can realistically recover. These conversations lose us work and they are the reason clients return.
Bar Council of India rules prevent advocates from advertising, claiming success rates or naming clients. We take those rules seriously, which is why this page describes how we work rather than making claims we would rather you test in the first conversation.
